Today I came across this interesting idea - http://whatcolourisit.scn9a.org/ - basically it puts the current time as the background color. You really need to see it in action ;)
So I thought - hey, this could be a cool Plasma wallpaper. Yep. And so 10 minutes later, I made it so :)
You can download this zip directly and install like this:
$ plasmapkg2 -t wallpaperplugin -i clocktocolor_wallpaper.zip
Looks pretty neat :)
Oh and...
not working on kubutnu 14.04 x64.
installation succeeds, and i get the option for clock-to-color in the workspace-settings.
however even if i apply, the background remains the same and the clock is not loaded....

@Chavtastic_se1: I did the same mistake: attempted to install it on KDE 4.
The plugin is for plasma 5, and I didn't upgrade yet...

Very cool! Very minimalist! I just installed it into my Plasma 5 and works perfectly.
Do you will add new features in the future like allowing hide the color code or change the position of the clock?
Thanks for the wallpaper!

@Baltolkien - no, I did it for fun and consider it done. But there's the code, feel free to take it and improve it, it's really easy with qml ;)

Oh! I'm only a user, I can't make it! :(
Well I try to promo this plugin and hope that anyone can do it.
Thanks for your work.
